The official last weekend is summer is here and Labor Day weekend usually brings out a lot of drivers, but you won't have to worry that much this weekend as Michigan Dept of Transportation is going to be suspended most of its bridge and road work.

Friday at 3pm MDOT will remove traffic restrictions on about 75% of active projects statewide. The construction suspension will end at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Even though MDOT will take away the constructions this weekend there will still be some lane closures or restrictions cause there is nothing MDOT can do.
