The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Warning for the Shiawassee River at Owosso.  A 5am reading this morning showed the river had entered flood stage, at 7 feet, and minor flooding had already begun to occur.  NWS expects the river to crest at 8 feet on Friday morning.


Flooding remains a concern for areas throughout mid-Michigan as steady rain is forecasted on Thursday and more rain is expected over the weekend.
