Report: Pistons Hire Weaver As GM

According to multiple media outlets, the Detroit Pistons apparently have their man to become the team's new general manager.

He is Oklahoma City Thunder assistant GM Troy Weaver, who's been with the team since 2008.  An official annoucement is expected early next week.  Weaver will join senior adviser Ed Stefanski in the Pistons front office.

The team has been looking for someone to join Stefanski in the front office for several months now.  The Pistons finished the 2019-20 season at 20-46, and were ravaged by injuries all season long.
