Now you don't need to throw out all of the meat you might have bought, but here is what to look for on the packaging before you cook it or throw it away. First the meat was packaged in North Aurora, Illinois on April 19, with establishment number "EST. 788" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The recall covers a lot of cuts of meat but most are cuts of steak, like ribeyes, and ribs / brisket cuts. If you might want to check your freezer if you have bought meat in the last month and froze it.

The possible E. Coli contamination was found due to a sample, but no reports of the illness was found. You can see all of the meats under the recall here.
