Did you know that there is actually a Christmas, MI? It is in the Upper Peninsula near Lake Superior. It is a small town that takes it's name very seriously. The entire town is Christmas themed and given its name, how could it not be?
The Polar Express is a holiday classic rooted in Michigan. The train in the movie takes the Pere Marquette 1225. Owosso is a quick drive and you can still take a ride on the North Pole Express.
