
ALERT: Pre-Packaged Meals Sold At Aldi Stores in Michigan Recalled

ALERT: Pre-Packaged Meals Sold At Aldi Stores in Michigan Recalled
Aldi just announced a recall on their Park Street Deli Pork Carnitas, over possible metal contamination found inside the meals. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Services (FSIS), just announced a public health alert for the 16-ounce "Pork Carnitas SEASONED & SEARED PORK WITH JUICES SLOW COOKED WITH CITRUS”.

The products were produced between April 1st and 2nd of 2025. They will also have a best by date of 07/01/25. The establishment number is 46049.
This recall came after damaged processing equipment may have contaminated the product sold at Aldi stores. No injuries have yet to be reported by consumers, however, you are still advised not to attempt to eat the product.
Officials are urging you to discard of the product, or return it to an Aldi store for a full refund. The current carnitas produced and are on the shelves at Aldi stores are unaffected by the current recall.
