Power Outage Impacting Much of Lansing Area

During what seemed like an otherwise mild thunderstorm on Sunday morning, there was a loud crack of thunder and then the lights went out for thousands across the Lansing area.

Both Board of Water & Light and Consumers customers are affected.

Heavy rain and thunder will continue to impact mid-Michigan through the Sunday morning hours.
