Police Warn of New Netflix Scam

If you are thinking about what to watch on Netflix tonight you should also know about this new email scam going around.

The scam starts when you get an email from a fake account with the email telling the Netflix customers their account will be deactivated because the company could "not validate billing information." There is also a link in the email and when you click it you are re-directed to a site where you are told to put in your personal information. Obviously you can assume what happens as the email is not from Netflix! You can see what the email looks like below.

If you get an email like that close it without clicking any of the links. The police recommend that if you want to check your Netflix status go directly to the Netflix website.
