While "Mr. Worldwide" could choose anywhere to spend his summer months, he's coming to the Mitten for two scheduled tour stops but could there be another day Pitbull will be spending the Michigan summer way?

Pitbull "Can't Stop Us Now" Tour Shows in Michigan

This summer, Pitbull will be hitting the road with Iggy Azalea opening for him on the "Can't Stop Us Now" tour, and they'll be making two stops here in Michigan.

First, per the tour schedule Pitbull shared on his Instagram, the first Michigan show will be on Tuesday, August 30th in Grand Rapids at Van Andel Arena. The next night, on Wednesday, August 31st, "Mr. 305" and Iggy take the stage at Pine Knob Music Theater in Clarkston:

Per MLive, "Can't Stop Us Now" tour tickets go on sale on Friday, April 15th at 10 AM and will be available for purchase via SeatGeek, StubHub, or Ticketmaster.

Could Pitbull be Joining His NASCAR Team at Michigan International Speedway?

First of all, yes, you read that right.

In case you missed it, Pitbull does, in fact, co-own a NASCAR racing team with Justin Marks and that is, Trackhouse Racing Team.

Now, when Pitbull was on tour in the summer of 2021, he took the stage at DTE Energy Music Theater (now rightfully re-re-named Pine Knob Music Theater) on Friday, August 20th.

I thought it would have been absolutely perfect timing on Pitbull's part as that also happened to be the weekend NASCAR would be at Michigan International Speedway. He would be able to perform in Clarkston and shoot on over to Brooklyn to see Trackhouse's only driver at the time, Daniel Suárez take to the track that Sunday.

However, Pitbull had another show in the Midwest in the days following his last appearance in Clarkston and it didn't happen.

Now, though, looking at the schedule for the "Can't Stop Us Now" tour, there appears to be an opening in dates for Sunday, August 7th, when the 2022 NASCAR schedule says racing will also be returning to MIS. Could that date be open as Pitbull will be touring in the Northeast at that point and could make the quick flight to Michigan?

I mean, Trackhouse did expand for this NASCAR season when they bough Chip Ganassi racing as well as brought on another driver, Ross Chastain, according to their NASCAR team profile.

How Much Does Pitbull Love Michigan?

Aside from the fact he is spending two nights in a row here in the Mitten to make sure to give both sides of the state a good show, it appears scenes from his music video for the song, "I Feel Good" were shot last summer during his performance at DTE (Pine Knob):

If you want to see Pitbull take the stage at Pine Knob in August of 2022, we will reiterate that tickets go on sale Friday, April 15th at 10 AM.

You can also win them with Mornings @ Large "Lazy Trivia" weekday mornings at 7:15 AM the week of April 18th through the 22nd.

As Mr. Worldwide would say "DALE!"
