Party City to Close Stores Due To Helium Shortage

So there is a helium shortage and because of that balloons might not get blown up and Party City stores are closing. According to WILX, Party City has announced plans to close 45 locations amid the global helium shortage. They didn't specify which stores are going to close but they said they would close the number of stores throughout the year.

There is one Party City in Lansing, at the Frandor Shopping Mall, but it isn't known if that is one of the stores. If you have walked into a Party City or any other store that sells balloons you might have seen the shortage and that many stores don't have blown up balloons anymore. Party City is also going to be getting a new contract for their helium source.

Party City has over 800 stores in US and Canada and they will closing less profitable stores to help their more profitable ones do better. You can see more about it here.
