Over a Dozen of Michigan Beaches Closed This Weekend
There are going to be over a dozen or so beaches all over Michigan that are closed this weekend due to high levels of bacteria. Some of these beaches might have more bacteria than others and also some of these beaches get run off bacteria so they might have less than others. The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has closed these beaches at least for the weekend so you will need to check here, if they re-open soon.
- Oakland County - Eagle Lake, Crooked Lake, Upper Pettibone Lake, Wolverine Lake - Spring Lake Heights
- Macomb County - St. Clair Shores Memorial Park Beach, New Baltimore Park Beach
- Bobcat Lake in Gogebic County
- Copper Harbor in Keweenaw County
- Holland Road Beach in St. Clair County
- Newburgh and Sumac Pointes in Wayne County
- Brissette Beach Township Park in Bay County
- Singing Bridge Beach in Arenac County
