No Peeps & Other Candies For Halloween! When Will They Be Back?

Sorry but here is some bad news....don't be looking for peeps until at least the spring as the company won't be making them any time soon. Apparently not a lot of people knew that peeps come out for Halloween but they do and actually peeps are made for Christmas too. According to WILX though, the candy’s owner, Just Born, has announced its Peeps will not be available for Halloween. Speaking of that, you won't be seeing peeps for Christmas or Valentine's Day either so make new candy plans.

Unfortunately the reason, is the same reason most things are closed or not made, coronavirus. The candy's production shut down earlier in the year and the company wants to make sure they have enough marshmallows for when peeps are really needed....Easter. You can expect to see peeps back on the shelves but not until about March. In addition, this company also makes Hot Tamales and Mike and Ikes, so expect to see them on grocery store shelves for the next few months either.
