According to the website, the two domes, known as Dome A and Dome B, offer spruce paneling, skylights and windows looking out to Lake Huron. Each of the domes will sleep 4 and have a main room queen bed and cot-style bunks. Each dome will also have a sitting area and mini kitchenette, complete with coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge.

It may seem the domes seem pretty complete, but know there is no running water. No need to worry thought, the campground restrooms are close by. The dome area also has a firepit, picnic table and grill. You'll need to bring your own linens, and you will have to leave pets at home.

The domes may seem similar on the outside, but inside each dome boasts its own special decor. The Voyager, the grey dome, has more modern furnishings inside. The Nomad, the gold dome, is a more of a traditional look.

Although the domes are provided and paid for by Recreation Resource Management of America, the state park system is receiving a percentage of the sales.

If you are looking to enjoy a unique experience in the great outdoors, reservations opened this week for stays beginning on May 28th. A night in a dome will run you $170, with a two night stay requirement. The perfect weekend getaway!
