Former Michigan Mr. Basketball Foster Loyer (pictured) announced, via Twitter, that he will be transferring from Michigan State to Davidson College for his final two years of eligibility.

Loyer's tweet:

Loyer spent the last three seasons at Michigan State, mainly as a reserve guard.  He missed the latter part of the 2020-21 season with a shoulder injury that required surgery.

He'll have two years of eligibility at Davidson after his "free year" at Michigan State in 2020-21 due to COVID-19.

Loyer was Michigan's Mr. Basketball in 2018 when he led Clarkston HS to the second of two straight state titles in Class A.
