MSU Grad Among San Diego Pool Party Shooting Victims

A 24 year old MSU graduate was shot in both legs in a random attack that is said to have been spurred by a breakup.  The Detroit News says Charnee James was at the San Diego party with her cousin when Peter Selis opened fire while on the phone with his ex-girlfriend.

James underwent surgery and is recovering now.  Her cousin, 23 year old Haley Thames, also survived.  One person was killed.  James was among seven injured.  Selis was killed by police.
