It looks like it is back, the popular and once closed Lansing restaurant, Mr. Taco, temporarily opened Friday afternoon.  Bill Bonofiglo, the son of one of Mr. Taco's founders, has been working since 2015 to re-open the restaurant that has a cult-like following.

Bonofiglo announced on a closed "Mr. Taco" Facebook group (if you are a fan of the place you should join it) late Friday afternoon that the restaurant would serve drive-thru orders for the first 50 cars. There were lines of cars pretty much all day and Mr. Taco has said it will be a process to get used to doing this again. Also if you are wondering about the hours they are open, it will vary for the next few weeks until they find what works for them.
