Movie Review of the Week

Known by other names such as Kaiju or Gojira, I'm sure you know him best as Godzilla...or maybe just a killer monster? Well, hopefully you will soon know Godzilla as an awesome movie as well!

The latest Godzilla remake, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), was not only super incredible but super old school as well. I loved it, it was completely reminiscent of those times when Godzilla had visible wires in the background and  was a guy in a suit destroying a model city. It had classic "Godzilla-kicks-the-crap-out-of-the-bad-guy" fight scenes and did not remind me in the slightest of that awesomely terrible comedy version...

However... I do have one item to complain about. It's hard for me to say without giving too much away, but I WILL say that maybe making something more prevalent in the previews than it is in the film is kind of a bummer. :(

Overall, I'd give it an A-. But decide for yourself! Check out this preview and see if you want to give the movie the chance it deserves. Plus I would love to hear what you thought about the movie; let me know in the comments below!
