Mountain Dew Forgets The U.P is in Michigan

So not sure if it is for artistic reasons but in Mountain Dew's new ad campaign they reference the U.P as being in Wisconsin. Um......no its not. And the Upper Pennisula isn't happy about it.

Mountain Dew's new campaign called "Dew-nited States" color codes all of the 50 states but they made a big mistake. As you can see from the ad below Michigan is colored red, while Wisconsin with Michigan's U.P is colored green and white. First off shouldn't Wisconsin be colored Red since University of Wisconsin uses red in their jerseys and logo and Michigan State is green and white. Second, obviously we all know that the U.P even though it is connected to Wisconsin....isn't in Wisconsin. Well apparently the U.P isn't happy about it and we shall see if anyone at Mountain Dew hears this and changes it.
