I mentioned last week how East Lansing has a few options to get rid of your Christmas Tree, but Lansing and some other area towns also can help. Also all of these places are only for drop off of live cut tree, must be bare so no tinsel or ornaments.

First, Meridian Township, residents can drop off trees at the Nancy Moore Park (2100 Gaylord C Smith Ct. in Haslett)

Next in Lansing the city will be collecting trees through January 9th, and people should their tree out on the curb same day as recycling to get it picked up.

In Delhi Township, there is a tree recycling program, just bring your tree to Delhi Township Maintenance Building at 1492 Aurelius Road between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Dec. 27 until Jan. 27, Monday though Friday only.

Christmas trees can also be dropped off at the Meridian Recycling Center for a $5 fee.

Just as a reminder in East Lansing you can place your trees on the curbside till January 13th, drop off your trees as a few locations, see them here.
