Wait, you've got to see this, because I have never heard of this, and it is honestly is a pretty cool idea. Have you heard of the MINI on the Mack before?

What Is MINI on the Mack?

It's an event that rolls into St. Ignace on August 1st and 2nd with thousands of MINI Cooper lovers, who cross the Mackinac Bridge in an effort to break the world record for the largest-ever MINI Parade.

This is something I'd never heard of or seen before, but apparently, it happens every two years here in Michigan, since 2013. They did miss the 2021 season, so this is the second time they've done this since 2023.

Supporting Van Andel Institute

Plus, all the proceeds for this event go to the Van Andel Institute's biomedical research and STEM education.

Here is what is going on with the event:

August 1st is the check-in date at the Little Bear Area around 10 am. There is even a car wash to benefit the St. Ignace Little League with a susnsent drive with the MINIs, and a drone show to end the night.

August 2nd is the big official day, and it starts at 10 am, with the MINI's breakfast trailers, inflatables, live music, and the rally all starting at 3:30 PM with fireworks after dark to cap of the festivities.

Attempting the Guinness Record

This is a cool little event that I'd never seen before, but a fun time. The world record they're trying to beat is 1,450 which was set on the London-to-Brighton Mini Run.
