I hope you got out and voted in your area cause there were a lot of things to vote on yesterday in Mid-Michigan.

In Lansing, there is a new mayor as Andy Schor won with over 70% of vote. Also there are a few changes in East Lansing with a new member to City Council with Aaron Stephens winning a seat and still being a Michigan State student at the same time. In addition in East Lansing, the Income Tax ordinance was voted down. You can see the full results from the rest of Ingham County here. 

In Eaton County there were a few mayoral elections like in Olivet, Grand Ledge, and Charlotte with Incumbents winning. The only upset was in Eaton Rapids, with them voting in a new Mayor, Paul Malewski. To see more on Election results in Eaton County you can check it out here.

In Jackson there was a hotly contest race for mayor and there is a new mayor as Derek Dobies won topping incumbent Bill Jors 2,259 to 1,818. To read more about their new mayor and election you can here.
