So many people I know really enjoy paddleboarding in Michigan.  Some like to sit and paddle, some like to kneel and paddle, then there are those who like to stand while paddleboarding.

Paddleboarding here in Michigan is wonderful because of all the inland lakes and the Great Lakes as well.  At least that's what everyone tells me.

I found this great article from michigan.org which showcases the most scenic areas for stand-up paddleboarding in Michigan.

I thought I would share some of my favorite Michigan areas from this article on most scenic areas to choose from for paddleboarding.  And I think after I do that, I need to make plans to go paddleboarding with my wife sometime this summer.

1. Harbor Springs.  I've been to Harbor Springs during several family vacations and I'm here to tell you, that would be a great place to go paddleboarding.  There are so many beautiful homes surrounding Harbor Springs.  Whether you're a beginner or advanced, Harbor Springs is very scenic.

2.  Traverse City.  You probably already know what I'm going to say, Traverse City would be my number one destination for paddleboarding.  I love this area and I highly recommend it to everyone who loves paddleboarding.  The perfect spot is the Grand Traverse Bay.  Another lake in the area is Torch Lake, which would be another awesome scenic view to appreciate.

3.  Grand Haven.  Grand Haven State Park is such a nice area for families.  If you don't mind paddleboarding in open waters with a few waves, you should be fine.  Grand Haven is such a scenic area in the first place.  There are several waterways to choose from including Lake Michigan.

Paddleboarding looks like a blast and I personally should try it this summer.  We've just given you a few great paddleboard choices for scenic views right here in Michigan.  There's more at michigan.org.
