Shane Company recently did a survey and came up with 2 lists. States with the best kissers and states with the worst kissers. Their methodology was to survey more than 2,300 U.S. residents, ensuring at least 50 in every state. They asked them to confess their own kissing prowess on a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being the worst at kissing and 5 being Aphrodite’s equal.

The national average kissing score was just 3.54 out of 5.

According to the survey, here in Michigan not only are we bad kissers, we don't do it as much as people in other states. Michiganders have kissed an average of 12.8 people. People in Washington DC like to smooch more, as they have kissed an average of 28.1 people.

Kissing By Gender &  Generation:

21% of baby boomers never kiss their partner. 44% of Genx respondents have kissed in the rain. 7% of Gen Z's kiss a mirror for practice. 83% of women would kiss a mustachioed partner. According to their results, 16.84% of women would not kiss a mustachioed partner while 15.37% of men would.

Additionally, dogs are quite possibly the most kissed Americans. 23% of dog owners kiss their pup on the mouth.
