The 5 Most Unhealthiest Fast Food Restaurants in Michigan
Coming in at number five is a favorite of many households, and probably something you've had recently, but it actually isn't all that great for you.
5.) KFC
KFC may feel like any easy choice for comfort food, but the famous buckets they sell, come with a serious punch. Just a three-piece Extra Crispy combo with a biscuit and mashed potato's with gravy is already around 1,300 calories, and nearly 3,000 mg of sodium. That's without the drink included. Most of the famous meals KFC sells, can creep bast 1,400 calories.
4.) Dairy Queen
Dairy Queen, doesn't just sell Ice Cream. They have a ton of different food items. But their medium Oreo Blizzard is already 1,080 calories. Plus a six-piece Chicken Strip Basket with gravy and fries is another 1,300 calories and 2,400 mg of sodium. Makes you want to stay home, right?
3.) Taco Bell
This one hurts to say, because who doesn't like Taco Bell. The menu may seem lighter and have less sodium, however just their Beefy 5-Layer Burrito with a Baja Blast is about 970 calories alone. The Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito hits 910 calories on its own. While delicious entirely, the calorie count can be pretty high.
2.) Sonic
Sonic is a nostalgia type drive-in, but it does have a side of diet disaster. The cheeseburger combo with tots and a 32-ounce Cherry Limeade tops 1,600 calories, with 3,000 mg of sodium. The deserts themselves, the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Master Shake, packs nearly 1,720 calories. I love me a good milk shake, but my thighs won't.
1.) Wendy's
At the top of the list is Wendy's, which is delicious, but can kill your calorie limits. A Triple Baconator with a large fries and a medium Frosty is just 2,160 calories and 3,400 mg of sodium. Even their solo sandwiches like the Pretzel Bacon Pub Triple hits 1,500 calories. Delicious and yummy, but not for those on a diet.
