Some Michigan Things To Be Thankful For

We live in a great state! Since it is the time of year to give thanks, why not give a little towards this chunk of land that we love. Sure, you might hear people complaining about some of these things, but we are lucky to have them.

SHORELINE

Let's start with the obvious. Shoreline. Michigan has plenty of it. It is a great state for boating and fishing. It also has plenty of beaches perfect for some warm weather relaxation.

MACKINAC ISLAND

Staying on the idea of waterfront property, let's be thankful for Mackinac Island. Majestic and a great place for a vacation. A beautiful drive and a little piece of heaven here in the mitten.

SPORTS

Lions, Tigers, Wolverines, Spartans, Pistons, and Redwings oh my! Michigan is a great sports state. Football, baseball, hockey, basketball, and more. Our state is perfect for sports lovers of all varieties.

SEASONS

They say if you don't like the weather in Michigan, you can wait a few minutes for it to change. While unpredictable, the weather does give us seasons. All four of them. The seasons make it great for camping and water lovers in the summer, as well as, ice fishing and snowmobile riding in the winter.

BEER

Michigan is a big craft beer state. If you are beer lover, that is something to be very thankful for. Breweries are flourishing all over the state and we have a few really good one's here in our backyard.

BRONNERS

Thanks to Bronners, Michigan has a little bit of Christmas all year long. So when you are feeling down, maybe a trip to Frankenmuth for some Christmas cheer will do you good!
