Michigan Summer Concerts/Events, Cancelled/Rescheduled – Now What?
This summer as far as concerts were concerned was gonna be super lit. The shows at Comerica Park ALONE were going to be amazing (and coincidentally break you bank account). Common Ground here in Lansing had just got started with Bling 182 and Nelly being announced.
However because of Covid-19 and a lot of artist postponing and flat out cancelling tours, your might be left with a hot ticket in your hand for a show that's no longer happening. Word is we might not get back to full blown concerts and tours until Fall of 2021.
So now what?
Wait for the reschedule? Will the tickets you have be good for the new date? Or do you just want a refund? Step this way for details.
313 Presents hosts shows at Little Caesars Arena, Fox Theatre, Comerica Park, DTE Energy Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill.
Ticket holders will automatically receive a refund for cancelled events. Alternatively, if your show is at a Live Nation venue you will have 30 days to opt in to receiving a 150% credit to use towards buying future tickets.
Tickets will automatically be valid for the new date, unless you opt for a refund within 30 days of the new show date being announced. Emails will be sent to ticket holders notifying them of their options. If you have tickets to a show that is postponed, you will be able to select your refund option once the new date is announced. If 60 days has passed since a show was postponed and no rescheduled dates have been announced, the 30-day window for refunds will open at that time. (Live Nation)
Tickets for upcoming shows that have been postponed or rescheduled will be honored at the rescheduled date. Patrons are urged to hold on to their current ticket until further information has been released. If the event organizer/promoter is offering refunds for postponed or rescheduled events, a refund link will appear on your Ticketmaster account.
For events that are cancelled and NOT rescheduled, the ticket purchaser may not have to return the tickets; the refund is typically processed by the method of payment originally used. Refunds will be issued to the person who purchased the ticket; this may not be the actual ticket holder. If an event is rescheduled, ticket purchaser will have the option to receive either a refund or ticket(s) for the rescheduled date. In either case, tickets must be returned to the Ticket Office in order to finalize the transaction.
