Michigan Schools Going to Bowl Games This Year
Not only is Michigan State and Michigan going bowling but a few other Michigan schools are going to bowl games this year. First up, Michigan State who are going to a bowl game on New Years Eve as they have been invited to and accepted the bid to play the Oregon Ducks at the RedBox bowl in Santa Clara, CA. The game will be at 3:30 on 12/31 on ESPN.
Next, University of Michigan missed out on the Big Ten Title game but still get a great bowl as they are going to one of the "College Football Playoff New Year 6 Bowls" in the Peach Bowl. Michigan is going to play Florida on December 29th at Noon. The College Football Playoff Semi-Finals will be on same day and right after Michigan plays so you won't have really any reason to move that day.
Along with the MSU and U of M, 2 other Michigan schools are going bowl in Western and Eastern Michigan. Western Michigan is going bowling after a year off (they weren't invited last year even though they were 6-6) and they are playing in the Great Idaho Potato Bowl on 12/21 at 4 pm against BYU. Eastern Michigan is going bowling as well as they have been invited to the Camellia Bowl ON 12/15 at 5:30pm against Georgia Southern. Eastern Michigan is going to a bowl game for the 2nd time in 3 years.
