The University of Michigan announced on Thursday night that when they take the field against Iowa on Saturday night, they will wear a patch on their uniforms honoring the victims of the Oxford High School shootings earlier this week.

The "TM 42" stands for Tate Myre and the number 42 that he wore for Oxford HS during his football career.  Myre was a star player for the Wildcats and was verbally committed to play for Toledo next season before he passed away earlier this week.  The four hearts on the patch are for all four victims of the tragedy.  The outline of the patch is of the Oxford HS "O"
