
Warning: Major Donut Recall Hitting Michigan Stores
Who doesn't love a delicious donut first thing in the morning? They're sweet, delicious and an easy way to just start your morning. Something you don't have to heat up, you simply grab and head out the door to start your morning. Or to just simply enjoy as a late-night treat if you choose to do so.
There is, however, a major recall, affecting about two million donuts nationwide that you should be aware of.
Warning: Major Donut Recall Hitting Michigan Stores
The company FGF, LLC is currently recalling over two million donut products, after a possible listeria contamination in their products.
The FDA issued the recall after 60 different baking goods from FGF, LLC were sold nationwide to stores in the United States.
Some of the affected products were:
- Cake Donut Rings
- Raspberry-Filled Donuts
- French Crullers
- Bavarian-Filled Donuts
- Some Dunkin' Donuts Products
- Two different flavors of Munchkins
As of now, over two million cases of baked goods from the company have been pulled from store shelves. The recall also applied to any products with the expiration date of December 13, 2024, or earlier on them.

Listeria monocytogenes is a dangerous bacteria that can be deadly to those who have a weakened immune system, the elderly, or the young.
Symptoms of listeria include:
- Fever
- Muscle Aches
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you are urged to get medical attention immediately.
If you have the affected products, you can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund, or just toss them.
