This was a huge discussion here in Michigan in September of last year (2023), as a law was repealed that denied businesses to not distribute or impose a tax on plastic bags used in stores here in Michigan.

But, if you look at stores like Aldi, Costco, or even Sam's Club, it's not a foreign concept. So, could you make the adjustment without them at stores like Meijer, Walmart or Target?

Many states have already slowly began making the transition away from those plastic bags, so Michigan doing so, wouldn't be really all that weird or bad.
