Michigan Woman Scores $100K After ChatGPT Picks Her Powerball Numbers
You know how, at one point, your teacher said you wouldn't always have a calculator in your pocket to do math, and yet, here we are... mini-computers in our pockets that can do that math, and even think for us.
A woman from Michigan just recently used that in her favor by asking ChatGPT to help her win the lottery, and it actually worked out for her. I have to admit, I use ChatGPT for a lot of things nowadays, including for something Google or WebMD could tell me (I have three days left, according to WebMD). But if I used it and won something as big as the lottery, I'd never admit to my secret source. It's in the name, secret source. Why let everyone else in on that fun?
How She Used ChatGPT
To think, instead of using ChatGPT to help me with my work homework, I could've been winning the lottery. Tammy Carvey from Wyandotte admitted that she only plays the jackpot when it gets ridiculous, and when she saw the numbers go past a billion, she bought a ticket online and asked Chat GPT for a set of numbers.
Surprisingly, those digits ended up matching four white balls, plus the red Powerball in the September 6th drawing. That's a $50,000 hit on its own, but because of the Power Play, that number jumped to $100,000.
Odds, Luck, and Reality Check
The chances of this happening for everyone could be pretty slim, but the fact that it happened is astounding. Truthfully, this could've just very well been a matter of luck. But if not, you may want to go ahead and get ChatGPT ready.
