A man goes crazy viral after quitting on twitter and leaving a truck full of packages at a Marathon station.

A 22-year-old couldn't take another minute of his demanding job so he quit and simply walked away Monday afternoon.  The problem is, he was driving an Amazon truck full of packages and left the keys in the ignition.  After he filled the Amazon truck with gas then abandoned it, he tweeted the following,
(caution: bad language)

That first tweet received over 227 thousand likes and over 26 thousand retweets in just two days.  He followed that tweet up with this one,

In an interview with WXYZ-TV in Detroit the next day the former Amazon delivery driver explained that he was overworked delivery over 200 packages a day working 12 hour days. When he missed his sister's birthday he decided enough was enough.  Derick Lancaster told WXYZ-TV in the video below that he "regrets that hasty decision."

Then a couple days later Derick had this to say on twitter.

It goes without saying that the backlash on twitter has been intense.  He admits that it was not a very mature or responsible way to handle the situation.

In other news, Amazon maybe hiring.
