In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Meijer stores have temporarily discontinued the distribution of weekly store ads. The chain is also offering $10 off a $50 purchase by utilizing the mPerks program.

Literature about the changes is currently being passed out in Meijer stores.

"Beginning April 12, we will pause our weekly ad so that we can focus our resources on keeping the items you need in stock, in a safe shopping environment..."

The website Bargains to Bounty clarified that Meijer will continue to offer sale items that will be available on its website, just not distributing a printed sales flyer. The move is being made in an effort to help eliminate the possible spread of coronavirus through the distribution of printed materials.

The $10 stipend on $50 orders is a way of encouraging customers to make fewer trips to the store, thereby reducing the risk of spreading coronavirus. It's available to anyone who uses the mPerks program either in person or by using grocery delivery through its website.
