Massive I-94 Construction in Jackson Continues This Week

If you live in or near Jackson or travel there, then you will want to know that the massive I-94 construction project in Jackson is continuing this week. According to WILX, there will be construction crews that will shift traffic on the newly constructed eastbound lanes at 8 PM. MDOT has also confirmed it and the shift will be from Lansing Avenue to Elm Avenue and the lane shift will only be in place until 9/12 at 6 AM.

Along with the lane shifts, there will also be the opening of the eastbound I-94 on-ramp at West Avenue at 7am on 9/12. There is expected to be delays with all of the lane openings and shifts so maybe tomorrow might be a good time to avoid this area, but basically avoid this area in general if you can as this construction project still has a long way to go.
