In the premiere episode of "The Voice" you may have seen Lansing's own Lucas Holliday make it through, but now another Mid-Michigan singer has made it through too.

Rebecca Brunner is her name and she has become the second Mid-Michigander to earn a spot in the battle rounds of the reality singing competition. She was selected by country superstar Blake Shelton on Monday night's episode.

Country star Blake Shelton was the only judge to turn his chair for Brunner, who performed Imagine Dragons' "Believer" during her blind audition. Shelton said she did a great job on a hard song and "was stuck with him now" jokingly, since he didn't have to fight anyone to get her on his team.
