Since Mac Miller's untimely death last month of a suspected overdose, the hip-hop world has been sent reeling. Countless artists expressed their heartbreak and how wrote about much Mac meant to them as rising and already established rappers, and now, a charity concert will be held to celebrate his life.

The show will take place on Halloween at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and will benefit The Mac Miller Circles Fund, an organization which provides "programming, resources and opportunities to youth from underserved communities" through arts and community building.

Among rappers taking the stage to pay homage to Mac Miller will be Action Bronson, Anderson .Paak, Chance The Rapper, Earl Sweatshirt, J.I.D, Schoolboy Q, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign and Vince Staples. Other artists include John Mayer, Miguel, SZA, Thundercat and more.

Thundercat and J.I.D were supposed to join Mac on tour in support of his most recent album Swimming, which was critically acclaimed as a musical maturation for Mac. Both Vince Staples and Earl Sweatshirt were early friends of Mac's in the music industry. After Mac's passing, Vince wrote on Twitter, "There is no Vince Staples without Mac Miller."

Mac Miller died on Sept. 7 of a suspected drug overdose, though medical examiners are reportedly still waiting on a full toxicology report to determine his official cause of death. In the wake of his passing, memorials have been held in his hometown of Pittsburgh, which is also considering renaming Frick Park after the rapper.
