Lots to Vote on Tomorrow Across Mid-Michigan
Tomorrow is Voting Day all of the issues have an effect on school districts through out the area. If you are wondering what will be on some ballots, here are some of the things that can be voted on tomorrow.
In Ingham County; Voters in Lansing will be asked for up to 3 mills to mostly fund school security. Also in Okemos voters will decide if the school district should borrow money for remodeling and fixing up schools. Voters in Dansville and Mason also have votes on millages as well.
Meanwhile in Jackson county, there are several votes like; Concord Community School District is asking voters to renew a building and site sinking fund question for five more years. There are also bond issues on the ballot for the Hanover-Horton School District, and the East Jackson Community School District.
In Eaton County, there are also bond issues on the ballot in Charlotte as public schools are asking voters to decide a bond request of $27,750,000 for erecting, furnishing and equipping additions to school buildings. Also some voters may leave in Eaton County but are in the Lansing school district so the millage question from above may apply to you.
Clinton County will also have several bond issues on the ballot in Ovid-Elsie Area Schools, Bath Community Schools, and Laingsburg Community Schools. In addition, New Lothrop School District will have two ballot issues to vote on one for a sinking fund and another for a bond.
