A number of Mid-Michigan high school football teams are ranked very highly in this week's Associated Press polls.

4-0 East Lansing is ranked 2nd in Division 2 this week (you can hear their game against Grand Ledge this Friday night on The Game 730 AM WVFN, pregame at 6:00 pm).

In Division 3, 4-0 DeWitt is ranked 2nd, while 4-0 Mason is rated 8th.

Division 4 has 4-0 Williamston ranked 7th, while Division 5 shows 3-1 Portland at number 5.  Olivet is ranked 8th and Lansing Catholic is rated 9th.

In Division 7, defending state champ Pewamo-Westphalia is ranked number 1, with perennial power Ithaca at number 2.

Division 8 has the Fowler Eagles (they host P-W this week) ranked 2nd behind Sand Creek.

And in 8-player football, Portland St. Patrick and Morrice are tied for 6th.
