Laingsburg Woman Finds Money In Mailbox — You Won’t Believe Who Put It There

On Saturday, Pam Denton posted a photo of an unexpected discovery in her mailbox -- a loose twenty dollar bill.  She said in a post on the Laingsburg Community Page on Facebook that "some guy in a blue van" was responsible.

Not long after she posted the photo, the man came forward.  And that's where the story gets even more interesting!

The gift was from a man whom with she'd had a previous encounter.  Recently, Denton posted an advertisement offering free blue jeans.  The that took her up on the offer was apparently so happy with the jeans that he decided he had to pay something for them.

Denton said they were nice jeans and she just wanted them to go to someone in need.

The man said in a message to Denton after dropping the $20 off that the jeans were worth "every penny."
