Lady Gaga is rumored to be joining the cast of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy for the franchise's third film. Interestingly, the character she's allegedly in talks to play happens to be Bradley Cooper's character's love interest.

"There is a very strong possibility that Lady Gaga and Bradley will be working together again on Guardians of the Galaxy 3," an insider told Hollywood Life. "Only some cast names have been released but the word is Bradley will reprise his role of Rocket Raccoon and Gaga will play his love interest. Their characters are animated but still, it’s exciting. Audiences want them together and certainly everyone recognizes that appeal; they’re box office gold together, it’s very likely that this will happen."

In the comic books, the otter character is known as Lady Lylla who is the heiress to a toy empire from the planet Halfworld (the planet Rocket is also from).

Cooper and Gaga previously played love interests in the film A Star Is Born. Cooper voiced the character of Rocket Racoon for the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

There is currently no release date or title confirmed for Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
