According to an article I saw on Buzzfeed there was an unnamed law student that was denied access to an exam she had to take because of the length of her skirt. The incident happened in Algeria and women around the world have been taking selfies of their legs to stand up in solidarity for this woman. According to the University law, students are required to wear "a decent outfit" ya know, whatever the hell that means. All I know is who cares what she was wearing? Apparently this is becoming an issue in Algeria because Facebook has now become a battle ground where women are posting their bare leg selfies to protest the University that deemed the attire inappropriate. Check it out on their Facebook Page.

This has to be frustrating. Not only for women in Algeria, and specifically, the woman affected here. But for women all over the world too. How much longer do we have to keep hearing about stories like this? Drives me insane. What are we? Living in the 1800's? They're just legs. LEGS! I mean I can understand that there are some inappropriate wardrobe choices out there, this isn't one of them. So disappointed in the world sometimes, and this just happens to be one of those instances. Let's hope this student can return to school.
