Julia Roberts donned a black Givenchy Couture gown for the 2014 Oscars, which had a peekaboo panel in the bodice.

Even the actress' winning, infamous, megawatt smile couldn't save this look. The dress was a bit matronly, and it felt like it was only semi-peplum. It also looked a little too loose fitting for Roberts bod.

We'll go ahead and say that it was ill-fitting and it just didn't do anything for her at all. Roberts is only 46, but this frock aged her. Perhaps if it had been nipped, tucked and tailored for her body, the result might have been different.

While there is no denying that Roberts is a 'Pretty Woman' and a fantastic actress, this was not her best red carpet choice this season. Sorry, Julia. We still love you.
