There is never a day that will go by when Ohio confuses me.

You understand the concept of boneless chicken. It is chicken without bones in it. Simple to understand, right?

Apparently, Ohio may not understand this "complicated" concept of boneless chicken.

Bones Are Allowed In Boneless Chicken

Before you bite into a piece of boneless chicken, you may want to double-check it after this ruling.

The Columbus Dispatch shared that the Ohio Supreme Court made a 4-3 ruling that states that "just because you order boneless chicken wings at a restaurant does not mean you shouldn't expect to find bones."

Oh, Ohio...you make no sense.

This ruling completely defeats the purpose and idea behind 'boneless chicken.'

A part of the ruling states that "a diner reading "boneless wings" on a menu would no more believe that the restaurant was warranting the absence of bones in the items than believe that the items were made from chicken wings, just as a person eating 'chicken fingers' would know that he had not been served fingers. The food item's label on the menu described a cooking style; it was not a guarantee."

Essentially, if you order boneless chicken, there is no guarantee that the chicken you receive on your plate will be boneless.

If you are confused, you are not the only one.

While the state of Ohio is arguing over the idea of boneless chicken, I am wondering if this will be a decision that inspires other Midwest states.

Michigan better not get any ideas from Ohio.

How would you feel if Michigan ruled the same as Ohio?
