A clothing collaboration for a good cause!

What is better than that?

It may be early for a deep spring cleaning moment. However, if you have clothes that you have been meaning to get rid of, there is an event happening in downtown Grand Rapids that you do not want to miss!

Grand Rapids Clothing Drive

In a collaboration between Second Vibess and Blair (@6.lair), they will be hosting a Clothing Swap on November 17th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM!

You can donate a bag of gently used clothes or hard goods, such as non-perishable food items, hygiene products, and more!

You can get one free bag to fill with swap items once you bring a bag full of clothes or hard goods!

Bring a bag! Take a bag! The best of both worlds!

Plus, you know your donations will go to a great local nonprofit and more!

According to the official Instagram announcement, all hard goods and monetary donations will go to Family Promise of West Michigan.

"At Family Promise, we provide hospitality to homeless families and keep them together in a time of crisis."

As for any leftover clothes, those will be sorted and "donated to help clothe people in our community experiencing homelessness."

How To Participate In The Clothing Swap

1. Bring a Bag of Donations

  • Option 1: Bring a bag of gently used clothing to add to the swap pile
    • Clothing should be in good condition
    •  All sizes are welcome
    •  Please be considerate—let’s make sure everyone has a chance to find high-quality pieces!
  •  Option 2: Bring a bag of hard good donations for a local shelter
    • Suggested items:
      • Non-perishable food items
      • Shampoo/Conditioner
      • Deodorant
      • Body Wash
      • Dish Soap
  • Option 3: You make a monetary donation

2. Get a Free Bag to Fill

  • With a minimum of one donation bag (or monetary donation), you’ll get one free bag to fill from the swap pile!
  •  Feel free to donate as much as you’d like—your support makes a difference!

Besides the clothing drive, Second Vibess is also offering 20% off all Second Vibess items in-store!
