Hey Michigan, is it too soon to start thinking about summer? If you are over winter like me, the answer is, no.

As of today, Thursday, January 16th, 2025, there are 155 days until June, 20th, 2025, the first official day of summer. Maybe we should think of spring instead. There are only 63 days until spring.

Okay, back to summer. According to the Farmers' Almanac, it will be one hot summer in the Great Lakes State.

Temperatures will be warmer than average in early to mid-July and August. It appears Michigan will also have above-normal rainfall during the summer months.

As far as spring goes, temperatures do not appear above average. It will be warmer (duh) than it is now, so I am okay with that.

Like I said, this is just something to look forward to. Unfortunately, you won't be opening your pool anytime soon. Unless it is an indoor pool.

If that is the case, call me. I will bring the snacks and tequila.

How many days until summer again? In the meantime, check out the galleries below to help plan your summer lakeside dining destinations and beach days.
