There are some things that are just so integral to the experience of being a Michigander that it's hard to shake them from our routines and habits.

That's why this phrase caught my attention; "You know you're from Michigan when...".

It's a "fill in the blank" type statement, waiting for the true Michigander to speak up and say something that so thoroughly relates to all their fellow Michigan brothers and sisters.
