Whether you're 100% Irish, just a wee bit, or not Irish at all — there are plenty of fun St. Patrick's Day Weekend activities to plug into around Michigan.

Here are a few of our favorites.

Detroit St. Patrick's Parade

The Detroit St. Patrick's Parade through Corktown is one of the biggest ones in the entire United States, typically drawing as many as 100,000 spectators. Expect marching bands, Irish dancers, floats, and packed pubs all along Michigan Avenue.

Look for live music on multiple stages and lots of huge beer tents. Irish Off Ionia is the biggest St. Patrick's Day party-style festival in all of Michigan.

Kalamazoo St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Fest

The Kalamazoo Irish American Club puts on the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade as well as Kalamazoo Irish Fest (at Old Dog Tavern). The events will take place Saturday, March 14 and will include Irish dancers, marching bands, and plenty of green downtown.

Muskegon St. Patrick's Day Parade

The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Muskegon is shorter than what you'll find in some of Michigan's bigger cities, but there's still plenty of Irish spirit. Expect bagpipes, Irish dancers, and smaller festive crowds.

Clare Irish Festival

This is the 51st year for the Clare Irish Festival, taking place March 11-14.

Grand Ledge St. Patrick's Day Parade

Local shops and restaurants around town lean hard into the Irish theme when it's time for the Grand Ledge St. Patrick's Day Parade. This year's event happens Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m.

Detroit Corktown Bar Crawls

Multiple bar crawls take place throughout Detroit neighborhoods, featuring drink specials and after-parties. The Corktown LepreCon Pub Crawl is a particularly fun one.
