If that's the case, then friend, I know someone who needs some help.

And by someone, I mean a whole bunch of feline friends, because Constellation Cat Café needs our help.

Constellation Cat Café

The Constellation Cat Café is originally, and currently, still located in East Lansing at 3320 E Lake Lansing Road. However, in the early part of summer of 2022, they announced that they had outgrown their current location and had made plans to move.

Enter the old Su Casa Jewelers building in Old Town Lansing.

Constellation Cat Café was able to buy this old building and have since been working to make it their new home. However, they could use a bit of help.

As you can see, they've been able to get the outside painted this gorgeous light purple color (you definitely won't be able to miss it when you drive by). But if you have some time, here's what else they could use help with;

  • Cleaning
  • Painting
  • Gardening
  • Light Construction

Constellation Cat Café is Asking For Help

The days that they're calling for "all hands on deck" are Sunday, November 12th at 10 am as well as Saturday, November 18th at 10 am.

If you don't necessarily have some time on your hands but you have a few extra bucks you could donate, you can rest assured that it's going to a good cause. In addition to being a cat café where you can go and pet cats while you enjoy café offerings, it's also a charitable organization that finds homes and adopts out the cats in the café. Yes, it's an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Check out what the current digs look like in the pictures below.
