Recently, I got the chance to try RJ's Burgers & Ice Cream Co. in East Lansing. I love supporting local whenever I can, so when I have the chance to support local AND eat well, you know I'm taking it!

A Popular Michigan Burger Spot Comes to East Lansing

RJ's recently opened in the Brookfield Plaza, located at the northwest corner of Hagadorn Road and Grand River Avenue.

While RJ's is new to East Lansing, it's not new to Michigan. The first location in Jackson is extremely popular, so much so that people have traveled out of state specifically to try their burgers and ice cream.

Thankfully I only had to travel 15 minutes over to the next town, but it was still well worth the drive.

What We Ordered (And Why It Was All So Good)

My family and I got RJ's double burgers, chicken strips, fries, sauces, and the ice cream nachos. Everything was utterly delicious.

All the hot and savory food was seasoned and cooked to perfection.

The signature Moo Moo sauce was some of the best dipping sauce I've ever had.

The ice cream was to die for. I got the Nana's Banana Pudding ice cream and I literally haven't stopped thinking about since.

If the yummy food isn't enough to sway you, I experienced some of the best customer service I've ever had—and that's coming from a seasoned former food service employee of over a decade.

If you're looking for a yummy place for lunch, dinner, and dessert, RJ's Burgers & Ice Cream Co. in East Lansing is well worth the visit.
