The Michigan Horse Expo takes place Friday (3/10) through Sunday (3/12) at MSU Pavilion. This year, the annual event marks the 50th anniversary of the Michigan Horse Council.

We should have seen this coming. This Saturday (3/11) and Sunday (3/12), there's a 2-Day Psychic & Holistic Fair at the Okemos Event Center. The event promises more than "30 vendors offering psychic readings, energy healings, health products, crystals and metaphysical items, tarot decks and spiritual books", along with food concessions as well!

This Saturday (3/11) at 9am, it's the Pi Day 5K at Lansing's Hawk Island Park. This fun-run benefits the scholarship program at Impression 5 Science Center. Participants can enjoy a free slice of pie after the race!

Drink up! It's the 4th Annual Lansing Bourbon Fest this Saturday (3/11) from 4pm to 11pm at Lansing's R.E. Olds Transportation Museum. The event promises more than 100 different varieties of whiskeys and bourbons; however, a selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic offerings will be made available as well.
